Display Area At The Railway Station Farmshop In Wingham

Chris, from Building and Landscape Services has recently constructed a display area at the Railway Station Farmshop at Canterbury Road, in Wingham, Kent.

The 12m x 6m area displays a variety of built in landscaping features, from indian sandstone paving to a large decking area with a built in bridge and pergola.

This not only provides John Young of the Railway Station Farmshop with additional customer seating, but also provides an excellent showcase of the work available from Chris at Building & Landscape Services

	On Friday 2nd March 2007 work began today with the construction of the display area. Chris and Stuart from B.L.S were in bright and early and ready to go. It was perfect weather to prepare the site. We towed in the digger and began work.

	Work continued on Saturday 3rd at the site, Chris carried out the levelling of the oversite with hardcore to provide a suitable base for the slabs to be laid on, so the transformation could beging.

	Monday 5th March, Indian sandstone arrived from supplier, it is absolutly lovely stone. We cant wait for the weather to change so we can get them laid. Hopefully it will be within the next few days.

	Wednesday 7th March. Decided that today seemed a good day to lay the slabs. Went over to the site and got laying and by 5.30pm the 4m x 6m area of the display was slabbed. A good days work.

	Tuesday 13th March. This afternoon we carried out the pointing of the patio. What a difference.

	Thursday 15th March. Decking is being delivered today. The aim today is to get the posts in, ready for the frame work, and joists to be installed.

	Monday 19th March. Bridge area of the decking is nearly complete. Main area of decking is also nearly complete and ready for the deck boards to be laid.

	Friday 23rd March, the display area is complete, it look fantastic. John is absolutly over the moon with the look of the area, and Chris is very pleased with the end result.
